Cookie Policy
This Cookie Policy explains what cookies are, what types are used on ecadria.com and how you can manage them. It is aligned with the Organic Law for the Protection of Personal Data of Ecuador and with the international Google Consent Mode v2 standard.
1. What is a cookie?
A cookie is a small text file that a website downloads to your browser to store information about your visit: preferred language, logged-in session or usage statistics. Cookies cannot run programs or access other files on your device.
2. Strictly necessary cookies
They enable basic site functionality: remembering your language (es-EC or en-US), storing your cookie banner choice and protecting forms against automated submissions. They cannot be disabled because the site would not work without them.
3. Analytics cookies
They collect anonymous information about the most visited pages, the time spent and the geographic origin of the visitor. They help us understand which real estate crowdlending content is most useful for readers in Ecuador. They are only activated if you accept their use in the banner.
4. Marketing cookies
They are used to show relevant messages about Ecadria's educational guide on other digital platforms. They are only activated if you give explicit consent. If you reject them, you will still see generic Internet advertising, but not personalized.
5. Google Consent Mode v2
Ecadria implements Google Consent Mode v2. When you first arrive, all non-essential cookies are blocked by default (ad_storage, ad_user_data, ad_personalization and analytics_storage = denied). Your choice is stored for up to six (6) months and then we ask for your consent again.
6. How to manage cookies
You can accept, reject or configure cookies from the banner that appears on your first visit. Additionally, you can delete or block cookies from your browser settings (Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Edge). Be aware that blocking all cookies may affect site functionality.
7. Changes to this policy
Any modification to this Cookie Policy will be published on this page with the new update date. If the changes affect purposes that require consent, we will ask for your authorization again through the banner.
